The right CPD at the right time for you

Swale Academies Trust is committed to providing the right training opportunities at the right time in a person’s career.  One of the strands to our continuing professional development offer is through the National Professional Qualifications (NPQs).  

This supports our people in two ways - the first through accessing nationally recognised qualifications which directly improve their practice and benefits the children and young people they work with. Secondly, through our experienced team having opportunities to become facilitators themselves to deliver the NPQs. 

Our partner for the delivery of NPQs is Leadership Learning Securing Excellence (LLSE). 

There is an ever growing range of NPQs to choose from - currently 9 with more to be released. 

 

Strategic CPD

As a trust we have considered the NPQs which best fit our strategic vision for the forthcoming year. We have chosen two NPQs to facilitate using our own staff.  Swale Academies Trust colleagues applying to these two NPQs are guided to choosing the SAT option when applying. Pay close attention to the ‘cluster’ options.

NPQs are currently fully funded by the DfE but should be embarked on in conversation with your headteacher and in line with the strategic direction of your school.
