The Whitstable School is seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of Science to join our thriving and supportive Science faculty. About the Role
- Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5, depending on experience)
- Delivering engaging, knowledge-rich lessons with high expectations for all students
- Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the department

- Has high expectations of themselves and their students
- Enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to a shared vision
- Is reflective, resilient and keen to continue developing their practice
This is an excellent opportunity for either an early career teacher or an experienced teacher looking for a new and exciting challenge. The school offers the opportunity to deliver examination qualifications at Key Stage 4 and 5.
The successful candidate will be:
- An excellent classroom practitioner.
- Passionate about teaching Science across all key stages.
- A team player who will fit in well with our existing department.
- Able and willing to make a full contribution to the life of the school.
- Suitable for both experienced or Early Career Teachers.
